Geauga County Historical Society’s Century Village Museum will host one of the region’s most beloved autumn traditions with the annual Apple Butter Festival Oct. 8-9, 2022. All the funds earned will go directly back into the Village to help us keep history alive.
The popular Apple Butter Festival is quintessential Americana, with volunteers and visitors taking turns stirring apple butter bubbling in cast-iron kettles and watching giant kites flying overhead in the Museum’s back meadow. Vendors will be on hand selling everything from potpourri and hand-made candles to kettle corn and apple cider. The Crossroads Museum Store will be open for shoppers looking for locally made art and food products. Jars of fresh apple butter, still warm from the kettle, will be available for purchase. Historic buildings and artisans will be open for viewing. This fun filled, family oriented weekend is open from 10am-5pm each day. We hope you will join us!
We divide our into two categories: "Crafters" who make their own items to sell and "Vendors" who sell items that are not made by them (Ex: Tupperware, Origami Owl etc.).
Vendors will be OUTSIDE ONLY and will cost $45.00 for a 10x10 spot and $55.00 for a 20x20 spot.
We have limited space and will only be hosting "Crafters" inside our Lennah Bond Building. This will be done on a first come, first served basis. We will be offering an 8ft table space for $50.00 per spot. We will provide an 8ft table and two chairs.
