Geauga County Historical Society’s Century Village Museum will host one of the region’s most beloved autumn traditions with the annual Apple Butter Festival Oct. 8-9, 2022. All the funds earned will go directly back into the Village to help us keep history alive.
The popular Apple Butter Festival is quintessential Americana, with volunteers and visitors taking turns stirring apple butter bubbling in cast-iron kettles and watching giant kites flying overhead in the Museum’s back meadow. Vendors will be on hand selling everything from potpourri and hand-made candles to kettle corn and apple cider. The Crossroads Museum Store will be open for shoppers looking for locally made art and food products. Jars of fresh apple butter, still warm from the kettle, will be available for purchase. Historic buildings and artisans will be open for viewing. This fun filled, family oriented weekend is open from 10am-5pm each day. We hope you will join us!
